History
Sereno Soccer Club was founded in 1979 by Joe Salomon, whose vision was to establish the most thorough soccer development program in Arizona. His foresight and organizational abilities were complemented in 1988 with the hire of Les Armstrong as technical director of coaching and player development. The addition of a complete staff of expert coaches and trainers, the tireless efforts of numerous volunteers, and the determination of its youth players have elevated Sereno as one of the premier soccer clubs in the country.
Home Ground
The Sereno Soccer Club currently utilizes practice and game fields in the north Phoenix and north Scottsdale areas. The majority of the players live in these areas, while others travel from the East Valley, West Valley, central Phoenix, outlying areas of Maricopa County, and as far away as Prescott and Tucson.
