Sereno Soccer's Fall 2008 Recreational Soccer Program
Our program is designed for players ages 5 – 12 (as of August 1, 2008) wishing to discover the game of soccer, or continue their enjoyment of the game. Our game and practice fields are located within about a 5 mile radius of the Paradise Valley Mall, in North Phoenix. Register now through August 29, 2008.
Teams
Our teams are formed by age group and gender depending on the number of registrants. As recommended by FIFA, and our professional coaching staff, teams are structured to give each player the opportunity to explore and grow within the game. Teams will play the following systems with the focus being on having FUN!
- Under 6’s play 4v4 without a goalkeeper (maximum 8 players per team)
- Under 8’s play 4v4 without a goalkeeper (maximum 8 players per team)
- U10’s play 8v8 with a goalkeeper (maximum 14 players per team)
- U12’s play 11v11 with a goalkeeper (maximum 18 players per team)
Coaches
We are fortunate to have a great base of volunteer coaches who donate their time and effort to make our program a success. Our volunteer coaches receive training and instructional material from our professional staff at the beginning of each season. Registration
Sereno Soccer offers three ways to register. 1) Download the appropriate registration form and fax, mail or hand deliver to the Sereno office 2) Contact the Sereno office and request to have an application mailed to you 3) Walk-in registration during our normal business hours at 10801 N 32nd St, Phoenix. We accept Visa and Mastercard only as forms of credit card payment. Checks, payable to Sereno Soccer Club, can be mailed with your completed registration form, and we welcome Visa, Mastercard, checks or cash for those of you wishing to walk-in register at our office.
What Happens After I Register?
All registrations that are received by August 29th are separated by age group, and gender and teams are formed. Coaches will receive their team rosters and teams will be posted on this website on September 5th. You should be contacted by your coach sometime before September 15th. At that point your coach will inform you of practice days, times, and locations.

September 27th – Opening Day (Team & Individual Photos)

Sereno will try to accommodate recreational player registration preferences or requests under certain circumstances, but the Club does not guarantee that all preferences or requests will be met.
Sereno Soccer's Winter 2008/09 Recreational Soccer Program
The winter 4v4 program is designed to allow children the opportunity to explore the game of soccer in a fun environment. Small-sided 4v4 games allow maximum participation for every player during the course of the game, and is a proven age appropriate system for technical development. The winter 4v4 program features a six week league beginning in January concluding in mid February Register now thru December 12, 2008!
4v4 Team Structure:
- Under 6’s Co-ed 4v4 without a goalkeeper (maximum 8 players per team)
- Under 8’s 4v4 without a goalkeeper (maximum 8 players per team)
